Selvamalar Selvaraju: How to break barriers for self-empowerment

Being challenged is inevitable - being defeated is optional. We are challenged every day - by different types of barriers we face at every turn of our lives - it could be societal, cultural or systemic barriers. The list just goes on. Who build these barriers? Why do these barriers exist? How do we break the barriers? Malar is passionate about unleashing peoples’ potential. She has over 15 years of multifaceted experience in championing the development and empowerment of underprivileged women, children and minorities in Malaysia. She has formulated new concepts and ideas to strengthen the mission of her organization, led new initiatives and maintained team spirit despite times of uncertainty and change. Malar held key positions in various organizations and has vast professional network with government agencies, corporate and the non-profit organizations. Best known for her dedication, passion, interpersonal and communication skills, her services are much sought after. Her passion to transform and realize human potential serves as guide and mentor in developing her leadership skills. Benedict Kindle: A Journey through Cult and Prison

A story of a young man who grew up in a sect and after he finally got out of it he Fell into drugs and got criminal until he got arrested. In prison he finally started working up his hole life and got sober but he still is struggeling with the consequences of his past. Now he also does speeches in schools to reach as many young people as possiple to provide others. At 25, he ended up in jail because of his addictions. In prison, he decided to break free from addiction. He sought help from inside the prison and from outside sources, committing to turn his life around. Jail became the unexpected trigger for change, giving him a chance to start fresh and build a healthier life. With determination and a new sense of purpose, he left jail committed to staying free from addiction. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.

Stephen Fer: Why intrapreneurs are the teenagers of the corporate world

Intrapreneurs are individuals who create new businesses within existing corporate organizations. To ensure their ventures thrive and accelerate towards success, they should emulate teenagers by breaking through the physical and mental barriers imposed by their "parents." Corporate organizations, in turn, need to act like supportive parents, recognizing and nurturing the growth of their intrapreneurial offspring. Stephen is the CEO and co-founder of STRADE Ltd, an intrapreneurial venture in the aviation sector. With over 20 years of international leadership experience spanning strategy, marketing, finance, operations, customer relations, and innovation management, he is dedicated to driving sustainable growth through innovation. Stephen achieves this by serving on various company and association boards and building high-performing teams globally. He holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and an Executive MBA. Sarka was born in the Czech Republic, has lived in Germany for 8 years and since 2007 is living in Switzerland because of her love for the Swiss Alps. She speaks 7 languages and helps people make their best contribution to the world. Roger Basler de Roca is a business economist, top 100 speaker and digital entrepreneur for over a decade. After many years abroad in private equity, he started founding his own companies and consults small and medium enterprises in terms of digital business innovation and ai. His areas of expertise include building digital business models and he has a penchant for algorithms and artificial intelligence. How does the digital reality affect us? Do we have to believe all algorithms and what is really behind ai – artificial intelligence? He shows companies, schools and organizations how and, above all, why. He is committed to the sharing knowledge and believes we can achieve more also in a 4-day week due to technology innovation.
